The Decastone product line

At Decastone, efficiency is at the very heart of our business model. Having the quartz you want in stock when you want it is really important to us.  So important in fact, that we built it right in to our business model.  You see, we don’t put a lot of energy into supporting hundreds of less popular quartz designs.  We only make the most popular ones.  That allows us to be able to provide you with great options on the designs that matter most, and frees us up to stock plenty of them.  And, you can get a pretty good idea about what the most popular quartz designs in America are just by looking at our product line!

We’ve divided up our product line into some broad product families.  Familia Alba is our family of white, or “light” colored products.  Familia Carrara is our family of Carrara marble simulations, and Familia Concreta is our family of concrete inspired designs.

Decastone® quartz slabs are engineered from 93% ground natural quartz and meet all specifications for water absorption, compression strength, slip resistance, abrasion resistance, stain resistance, chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, thermal expansion, flammability, dimensional stability and density as per ASTM and EN testing methods.

Familia Carrara

Our family of Carrara marble simulations.  For thousands of years, Carrara marble has been carved out of the hills of Tuscany, and used throughout the ancient world in sculptures and building decor. When you think “marble,” odds are you are thinking of Carrara marble. And while real Carrara marble is beautiful and classic, it is also soft and porous, and makes for awful counter tops, because marble stains easily, scratches easily and is impossible to maintain. The Familia Carrara is our quartz answer to getting carrara beauty into the kitchen or bath.  Our soft, feathery veining looks so  much like real Carrara marble, it would fool Michelangelo.  But it’s not.  It’s Decastone.

Familia Concreta

Our family of concrete inspired designs. Concrete, as a design element, can look amazing. It is rustic, minimal and bold.  Sleek, massive and modern, “Industrial chic” is very desirable in the modern kitchen.  Trouble is, real concrete is a terrible counter-top material.  It stains.  It chips.  It’s splotchy and inconsistent.  But at Decastone®, we’ve recreated the extra-ordinary look of concrete in quartz.  The light, industrial look of concrete with all the exceptional qualities of the finest quartz.  Beautiful, consistent, maintainance free.  We call it the Familia Concreta.  You’ll call it amazing.
